Brandywine Zoo
A southern male pudu named Haechen was brought to the Brandywine Zoo in Delaware as part of a Species Survival Plan Program. The hope was to have Haechen mate with a female, Clover, to increase the species’ population numbers.
The Brandywine Zoo wanted to create a 'love story' for Haechen and Clover in an effort to raise money for their future habitat together. Unfortunately, Haechen passed away before this project was completed.
The Brandywine Zoo also requested a generic pudu illustration (below) that would appeal to a larger audience. The various illustration’s would be used for merchandise in the gift shop, signage and social media posts.
